TiF begin around February 2004 in Fredonia, NY as part indie rock band part media art experiment. The band wrote and performed songs for the next year and a half before eventually releasing a self titled full length and launching two months of shows across the eastern half of the U.S.
The live shows from that summer included a video backdrop that reflected the conceptual content of the songs. In the year that followed, the band only performed a handful of times and decided to take a hiatus when everyones plans involved moving away from the Western New York Area.
A new release was planned for summer 2008, but has been abandoned. There are no future plans for TIF.
